Almost to the goal!

As I prepare for the week ahead, I keep reminding myself, this will all be over soon and the end result is worth it. We're moving a week from this next Wednesday and I find myself stressed and overwhelmed by all that has to be done. Granted we are blessed because Zac's company is paying for movers that will pack, but there are so many details that need to be worked out just right for everything to go as planned. I am so thankful that I will have so much help, Zac's mom is coming Sunday night and will stay until we're in SA and my dad is coming Wednesday to help us move and my mom is kind of switching places with Zac's mom, she's coming to SA Friday morning and Lee is leaving.
Zac took more pictures of the house when he did the walk-through last week. Here is my favorite, another one of the front. We can't wait to make this our home, it's feels so nice and as Micah says, "It has a game room with TOYS" (this comes out as 3 syllables). We have some work to do on the flower beds, the builder definitely has a different idea of what looks good (or perhaps what is enought for the scale of the house), but for the most part everything is ready for us. We can't wait to be settled, I think SA is more of a destination than Houston, we're hoping people will come visit, why have a big house if you don't share it?

Do I really need to say more?

We are officially preparing for an April 30th closing on our house and the purchase of the new house. We are working the details so we can close on the purchase here in Houston so we're ready to move in when we get to SA. We're so excited but a little nervous still. Keep us in your prayers that all goes well and as stress free as it can be.

We went out to dinner tonight and the waitress gave Emmie maracas! She LOVED them and we brought them home...yeah for noise! Micah got a sheet of stickers, and he was very excited but it paled in comparison to Emmie's joy.

Welcome to April!

I can't believe it's already April! We've had a busy and nerve-racking month. We got an official offer last week and endured the inspections over the weekend. We're waiting to hear the results of the inspections...whether the buyer wants something fixed or not. We're praying that everything went well and that we'll be on our way to closing really soon. The option period should be up on Wednesday so after that the only way the deal can fall through is if her financing falls through. We're cautiously optimistic as we both are so ready to be moved we'll be devastated if this falls through. Please keep us in your prayers in this busy and crazy time.
Now on to the kids...both are doing great. Emmie is now consistently sleeping through the night and both are waking a little after 8:00am or if I'm lucky like today it's 9:00am. They are really starting to play together and it is so fun to see. I am also enjoying the little bit of time I am getting to myself to get quick things done as Micah can entertain Emmie. It does mean that I often hearing crying from the other room and then I get to question Micah as to what happened. I don't think I ever get the real story but I usually get the idea. I can say that Emerson is quite dramatic...she cries very easily and very loudly so I'm never sure if he hurt her or if she's just yelling at him!

He had a little help making this mess, but unfortunately Em doesn't help clean up! Although she's smart, she makes the mess and then gets away from the scene of the crime.

Micah got this pony for his 1st birthday and Emmie likes riding it. Micah wanted to ride with her the other day and I was lucky to get this cute picture!
