The New Year!

Well, we made it to the new year. Micah is learning to explore our house and is keeping me on my toes now. My day just got a lot busier. I had to take Micah back to the doctor today because he's still coughing and has a runny nose. Well imagine my surprise when the doctor announced he has a double ear infection! I had no clue, but am secretly glad because at least they can fix that and I wasn't imaging a problem with my kid. Here are a few pictures of Micah from this weekend. He turned 8 months on New Year's Day and he weighs around 19 1/2 pounds. He's growing so fast. He can say "DaDa" & "Hi" but is stubborn most of the time and won't say either.

Christmas update first

Well, I haven't posted since before Christmas, I'm sure people are checking and have been disappointed. Christmas was great, we went home to celebrate with everyone. Micah & I flew home early to visit with my brother & SIL.
I'm not sure Micah really understood the whole idea behind Christmas but he enjoyed the people & the new toys. True to the stereo-type, he liked the box for one of my presents best. Micah chose Christmas morning to show us he could pull-up. He used a box and pulled to a standing position over it. He's now been working hard to perfect his skill, he often ends up falling down, but he'll learn. There is a video of him pulling up under the links section. Here he is "opening" a few gifts.

Micah got to meet his cousin, Avery for the first time. He wasn't too interested in her as it was almost bedtime. Hopefully we can setup another time for them to play soon.
